Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount, has named the Blues as the best team in the world. Mount said this after Chelsea defeated Manchester City 1-0 on Saturday night in Porto to win the 2020/21 Champion League. The England international provided a key assist to Kai Havertz against Man City as Chelsea won their first Champions League since 2012. “I can’t put it into words. Man City Defender Aymeric Laporte Switch From France To Spain Approved By FIFAPosted by OluwaFemi. on May 14, 2021 0Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has had his switch in nationality from France to Spain approved by Fifa.The 26-year-old can now play for Spain at Euro 2020 this summer.Laporte has played for France’s youth teams but has not made an appearance for the country’s senior team.A Fifa statement said he could play “for the representative teams of the RFEF Spanish Football Association with immediate effect”.Laporte, who was born in France, joined City for a then club-record £57m in January 2018 from Spanish side Athletic Bilbao.Last year, Fifa’s annual congress approved a rule change which meant players could switch countries if they had not played more than three matches for a country before the age of 21 and had not featured at a World Cup or continental tournament.

The Invasion Of Aso Rock By Armed Robbers, Is An Indication That Nigeria Is On “Autopilot” & Unsafe For HumansPosted by Richard Idasenibo. on May 11, 2021 11Hmm things dey occur for this country o.Just some couple of hours ago, the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja was reportedly invaded by a gang of armed robbers who escaped with a lot of valuable items.It was reported that the residences of the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Professor Ibrahim Gambari as well as that of an admin officer Abubakar Maikano within the premises of the Villa were specific targets.According to report, the robbers took away many valuables from both residences during the attack which occurred on Sunday, May 9, 2021.The report added that both Gambari and Maikano were forced to temporarily abandon their residences in the Villa due to the strange occurrence.MY OPINION:The funny part of this story is that none of the robbers was caught. They all escaped from “Aso Rock” the most secured and safest place in the country. A place surrounded with thousands of military men, and other security operatives. Is Nigeria not a big joke?I know what the plots are. They’d tell us how some important documents were stolen by the armed robbers. A country where snake, elephant and monkey made away with millions of naira? Indeed, Nigeria is a comedy channel on DStv.
